Q: What got you interested in photography in the first place?
A: When I was younger, I went through a really bad divorce and lost sight of who I was. I went to Utah State (go Aggies!) and took a film class — I just fell in love with it and graduated with a BFA in photography.

Q: What's one of your favorite things about photographing people?
A: I feed off people's energy! If they're calm, I'm more reserved. If they're wild, I match that and it turns into a party.

Q: Favorite themed session you've done?
A: I love themed sessions that feel personal. My favorite was one with my son — I painted the backdrop, had the little outfit and all the animals. It was just fun and creative.

Q: What types of sessions do you offer?
A: I have a studio where I do newborn, cake smash, and family sessions. I also shoot outdoor photoshoots, senior sessions, and even product photography.

Q: What’s special about your pop-up sessions?
A: I love offering pop-ups like Mommy & Me sessions. As a thank you, I often give clients a free digital and an 8x10 print!

Q: How long have you been doing photography?
A: About 10 years now. Safety is incredibly important to me, especially when photographing newborns — from proper posing to keeping the room warm enough.
