We are here at one of our most exciting places in town—Wingers is officially open in Burley!

We heard tons of rumors about it for a long time, so tell us what was going on in the background with that.

We’ve actually been working on this location for about five years. We really knew this would be the perfect spot for one of our new Wingers Alehouses. Just working through permitting and all the logistics of opening a new restaurant—it’s taken us a little longer, but we’re finally here and we’re super excited.

What’s a must-try when people come here?

Right off the bat—if you’ve never been to Wingers—we’re famous for our Sticky Fingers. They’re hand-breaded chicken strips with our sweet and spicy sauce. But what’s new here in Burley is that this is one of our updated concepts called Wingers Alehouse. Everything’s made from scratch, and we’ve got an extended menu including seafood—plus 40 beers on tap.

40 beers?! That’s awesome. I’ve also heard you have local brews?

Yeah! One of the coolest things is that we brew four of our own signature beers, but we also feature breweries from Twin Falls and the region. You’ll find 40 beers on tap, many of them local.

I noticed a lot of art around the restaurant—can you tell us more about that?

Yes! We love to highlight local artists. This mural behind us was done by Osana, out of Shoshone, and there’s more artwork featured throughout the space. It just adds to the local vibe we’re going for.

So what made you decide to open a Wingers in Burley?

I actually started in the restaurant business when I was almost 14—I opened a snow shack. My dad was one of the very first Papa Murphy’s franchisees, so I grew up drawing floor plans and dreaming about restaurants. My family loved Wingers, and when we met with them, they told us Idaho was one of their top target markets. We drove up to Boise, fell in love, and ended up buying the rights for the whole state.

Wow! And now here we are—18 years later and finally in Burley.

Exactly. We opened our first Wingers in Nampa, and we’re really excited to finally be here.

And this week is the grand opening! How should people celebrate?

With popcorn, of course! That’s a Wingers tradition.

We’re also excited because we partnered with Wingers for an awesome giveaway. Tell them what they can win.

We’re giving away a $60 Wingers gift card—which is dinner for four or a great night out. Just follow the instructions in the comments to enter!
